Yes I have been quietly knitting ever since my last post. Well not exclusively. I wish!
There’s been the small distraction of new bathroom and new carpets then the large distraction of running around the house luxuriating in the softness underfoot and the power of the water flow in the shower. And work, and life and all that.
But there was some knitting, undertaken in great secrecy ready for Christmas. Meret Hats for my girlies … They seemed to like them. They wore them all day, even under their paper hats from the crackers. They were still wearing them later on in the evening…
I also knitted my mother a meret. Well I knitted it for me but she pointed out it wasnt really my colour. It was oatmeal. It apparently was her colour. And fitted her better. Well fair enough, she does look nice in it. Maybe I will knit one for me later. Quietly.
2009 will hopefully see a better blogger. Not so much a resolution, just a fresh start.
